The first handful of pages of Tamarack Lane were made when I thought I was going to submit it to a newspaper syndicate. A typical 4 panel, set-up and punchline type of comic. But after a while I realized that I wanted to tell a larger story and I didn’t want to have to rely on a joke every few panels. So I reconfigured the 4 panel strips I had already done so they would fit better into the preferred format. I’m sure it will be easy to tell which pages were meant to be strips but I wanted to include them for the sake of continuity.

I don’t know why I feel the need to make this comic strip, but I can’t stop. I just keep working on it. So I figured why not just throw it up on the web to see if it sticks.

I don’t know if anyone is even going to see this. I don’t know the first thing about promotion so if you do somehow drop by this site either on purpose or by accident and you like what you see, please drop me a note. If you don’t like what you see, feel free to tell me why… but please try to be gentle. The internet can be a harsh, cruel world.
