Keeping a consistent posting schedule is important. This is how you build an audience and keep fans interested. The problem for me is I think this current format is better suited for short comedy bits, observational pieces, etc. Keeping up with a weekly schedule kept forcing me to make dialogue and story choices I wasn’t 100% happy with and I think once that boulder starts rolling down the hill, it becomes rather difficult to steer in the direction you want it to go in. Crappy metaphor, but you get the point, I hope. Bottom line is, I want my stories to be good. I want them to be consistent. And because of that, I’m stopping the weekly installments of Tamarack Lane. At least in story format.

So here is the change starting now:

Tamarack Lane “Snippets” the non-continuity, funnier approach to the characters will be the new weekly posts and take a few months to get off the ground.

The Tamarack Lane stories, however, will now be presented in a completed format. Meaning each story will be in one file, post, or printed book to be read at your own pace. I’m not giving up on the stories and if you’re invested in the current storyline (Chapter One: Welcome Back) don’t worry! I won’t leave Sam and the gang hanging on that cliff for too long! I will finish it as soon as I can.

So if you’re a fan, please stick around. Tamarack Lane isn’t going anywhere.
